My roommate seemed to think that no one would remember that riddle. But I know you guys know it! It’s the first thing I thought of when I started taking these photos.
This black & white dress is indeed one piece. It’s one of the most simple things that every girl should have in their wardrobe. I love pieces you can dress up and dress down. I found the dress at a store on 125th Street called High Energy. It only cost me $7.
I paired the dress with a red blazer I scored at the Salvation Army in Union Square on half off day for $11! I was sooo happy when I spotted the blazer & it actually fit. The tag says Rena Rowan for Saville.
I added this patent belt because the blazer made me look a little boxy. All women know that adding a belt to the waist instantly gives you a desirable hourglass silouhette.
The ribbon around my neck used to be a necklace that had beads on it, but I broke it earlier that day. So I decided to tie it around my neck. Black, white & any splash of color always makes for a sophisticated, yet fun ensemble. The day I got this blazer, I also got a hot pink blazer, so I’m excited to put an outfit together around it. I think blazers are gonna be my signature fall piece.
