I think I’m Rainbow‘s biggest supporter. Seriously I think you guys sleep on them, but they’ve got some amazing pieces [well not always, but usually].
I scored this little denim ruffled number from Rainbow on their $5 rack–one of my fave places for amazing finds. My 3/4 pink cardigan is from Lane Bryant. This is a piece I got years ago, so I don’t remember the price, but I gaurantee you that I didn’t purchase this at full price. Frugal Fatshionista Rule #1: Never purchase anything at full price!
The suede belt is one of my favorite accessories from Re/Dress (a plus size vintage retailer in Brooklyn–in case you didn’t know!). The belt set me back $6. I paired this country look with my cowboy-esque brown boots from Avenue for $39.50.
I adorned the pink cardi with my favorite leopard flower from H&M for $3.95. I also used a feather from my feather necklace ($5.99) and put it on my earring for a little extra flare. These earrings are from a Harlem street vendor for $3.
We’ve been having some awesome weather in NYC, prolonging the last few bits of warmth from summer. All I’d have to do to transition this look into a warmer outfit is layer it with a trench, a scarf and some tights–my fall faves! Who says you have to do warm tones in the fall? Brighten up your chill, gray days with some Haute PinK!
