Tea For Tutu

Anyone that thinks they know my style, knows I love pretty skirts and dresses. So when I spotted this flirty tiered blush tutu inspired skirt on the rack at Re/Dress, I knew it was going to be mine.

It’s orginially $39.95 from H&M, but thanks to Re/Dress, I only paid $16. It’s a bit steep for me, but look at this skirt! Adorable! And I love the way it looks with my cut-out Oxfords from BarefootTess.com ($69).

I was with Alissa from Stylish Curves when I bought this teal blazer from Ashley Stewart via Re/Dress and the skirt, but I didn’t think to pair them together until I saw her pastel color blocking post. Very creative and the color combo is to die for! Also, peep the peplum back on the blazer. For $14, this was a steal!

Then I saw this necklace on the sale jewelry rack at Avenue for $6.96; I was sold on the pastel color blocking. The colors are exactly the combination I needed!

Are you going to be mixing colors this spring? Use Alissa’s advice and try some pastels.

PS–Don’t be alarmed, but I am not wearing makeup in these shots. Sue me. LOL

My better half enlightened me to the fact that pinks look great on me (which I always thought they washed me out…) so i will also be trying this pastel color blocking :)Thanks for the awesome color tip advice! Also, btw, you are stunningly beautiful without make up — without the disclaimer I wouldn' t have even known you were going without it!
