Jolly Green Giant

Every once in a while, there’s a piece of clothing that screams your name as it hangs on the rack. This green dress did just that when I went to Sweet Roll Ent.’s Plus Clothing Swap. And you know what a swap means–it was free!

This dress is a statement on its own, so I didn’t need to pair it with much.

I used a white belt (Rainbow $5) to coordinate with the colors of the purse–which I also got from a clothing swap–Netta P’s, so it was also free!

The cut of the dress is so free, I decided to belt it for more form, but it also looks really beautiful without cinching the waist. I love the accordian pleats!

Once the wind catches it–instant photo shoot! The movement in this dress is so stunning! It was so hot the other day here in NYC, my friend and I went to Columbus Circle to play in the fountain to cool off.

The water was ice cold and definitely a retreat from the heat! We had so much fun playing in the fountain, we inspired others to join us! Every once in a while, even if you can’t excape–use small moments to create your jolly. 🙂
