Never A Bride

So, this is my second time being a bridesmaid and I actually kind of liked the gig. My homegirl from high school asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding and I knew I wouldn’t miss ir for the world. In being a bridesmaid–there’s always the dress. Every bride always says, oh you can totally wear that again.” This time, my bride was right. The pretty coral chiffon dress would work beautifully as a maxi dress!

Yup, I was right. Paired the $79 David’s Bridal dress–which is an amazing price for a bridesmaids dress, it was on clearance–dress with a belt and cropped DIY jean jacket and scarf, you’ve got a gorgeous look!

The gold belt is from Rainbow for $5. The dress cinched at the waist with a satin band. I thought to cover the band with the belt for a more casual feel.

The jean jacket is from Lane Bryant. I got it so many years ago, I don’t even remember the price. It was as long as a trench and I cut most of the length off, transforming it into a crop.

I tried to rock the scarves in a few different ways to figure out which way I liked the best. I still don’t know lol. The scarf is from Netta P’s Clothing Swap.

Do you have any bridesmaids or formal dresses you could wear again in a casual way??
