I love my legs. I’m not one of those overly critical types–spending hours in front of the mirror, loathing everything I see and wishing for better. Ok, well, maybe not all the time. So when there’s something I love about myself, I accentuate it as much as possible, which leads me to wearing lots of skirts and shorts year ’round.
Let’s get this out of the way. These aren’t even shorts–well they are, but it’s actually a romper. I found it on sale at H&M for $12 and snatched it up immediately. I wasn’t in love with the way the romper fit, but after playing around with it, I found a way to make them fit beautifully as shorts!
Of course I belted them with my patent belt from Rainbow that came with a top that I’m sure was not over $10. I added a black button up from Pay/Half for $7 to keep the look clean and sophisticated.
I completed the look with black suede booties from Avenue for around $40, black stockings also from Avenue for 2 for $12 and a shell necklace I scored in St. Maarten for 3 for $5.
All in all, I love the look. It’s something about shorts, tights and boots that’s effortlessly sexy, but still very classic. What summer trends do you like transitioning into the fall and winter?
