There’s nothing like the change of seasons to shake things up in your wardrobe. I love trends that can transcend seasons. Who says sheer is only for summer? Or shorts should only be worn in the heat? I say fashion rules are meant to be bent and here’s my way of doing so, but staying fab!
Check out five of my favorite summer trends that I’ll be bringing into the fall!
The hi lo trend is one that I will gladly pull with me through fall and winter. I’m going to throw on some tights, boots and keep it flirty. This skirt was a find from Goodwill and it st me back $3.99 half off. It’s a full length skirt, but I tucked it under itself in the front for a DIY hi lo. I paired it with a sheer black ruffled top from Rainbow and grey sandals from Barefoot Tess for $49.
I’m a big fan of my denim a-line skirt from Rainbow. It’s one of my favorite Rainbow finds! It only set me back $7. I’m def gonna be rocking this skirt in the fall with tights and boots! The top is also from Rainbow for $5. It looks likea floral print, but they are really only splotches. A hot pink flower fascinator in my hair and leaf bracelet and my look is pulled together–summertime fine.
Sheer is the way to my heart. This black sheer broom skirt from Forever 21 for $19. I paired it with a lime green mini for $9 and white tank for $4 , also from Forever 21. Simple, sexy & fun. With full black leggings or maybe even a fun leopard legging, I’ll be rocking this sheer skirt with a pair of combat boots!
I love a good pair of trousers! I found these khaki numbers at Housing Works Buy The Bag Sale. I paired it with a denim button-up top, trimmed in red that I also found at the sale. This outfit cost me less then $2 pretty much because the day I scored these pieces, I counted more than 30 items for $25. Trousers can easily come to fall with cute booties or loafers.
Obviously I adore leopard. I think this leopard minis is one of my fave Forever 21 purchases. It was a mere $9.80 and going to be worth every penny as I extend it’s shelf life into fall with tights, boots and a blazer. I paired it with a lime green tank from Forever 21 for $5.80, which I love doing! Bright colors with leopard print it a fun way to use color and print. I’ll keep the bright colors trend going through fall too!
